After several McDonald’s workers and family members at an Oakland establishment tested positive for COVID-19, the workers organized a demonstration, with help from the Poor People’s Campaign Bay Area, SEIU Local 1021, Fight for 15, and David Solnit, to fight for safer working conditions amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
